Graham's life as a games journalist started as a teenager writing for Half-Life fan sites. In 2005, he turned pro by joining cheery RPS fanzine PC Gamer, first producing their cover discs and eventually becoming editor. He joined Rock Paper Shotgun as editor-in-chief in 2013, where he led the site through acquisitions, redesigns, staff changes, and several debates about whether video games is one word. (He lost.)
In recent years he has worked across Gamer Network websites, supporting (and annoying) the editorial teams of RPS, Eurogamer and Dicebreaker. In 2024 he returned to focus solely on leading RPS to new heights.
